We all know the chaos of getting ready for the holidays…decorating, parties, out of town visitors, cooking. Honestly, you know the list can go on forever! But, lets put the stress on the backburner for now.  I hope to help make this year one of good cheer and tidings with a little preparation for you my dear reader.  In the coming weeks; I will share quick decorating tips, inspiration for your table settings, gift ideas and much much more!  And, if there is anything you would like for me to write about or help you source, please leave me a note and I will make certain that we do our best to help you. Okay, so lets get started with a few of my favorites I will use for Fall to transition into the Holidays….

Antlers are a major trend this year and this little pillow is one that fits the bill for my sofa. Its the perfect shade of red and has just enough whimsy…

Monograms, Monograms, Monograms…don’t you just love them?! I love taking a simple white hemstitch napkin and customizing them with a raised monogram or even an embroidery. Here are pretty examples of how you can instantly turn your plain white napkins into a sparkling jewel for your table.

Design Tip: To recreate a similar napkin as shown below: You can use a linen or burlap fabric, buy enough fabric for 20″ squares in the quantity you need. Joann Fabrics has burlap fabric $2.79/yard or you can purchase linen fabric at Warehouse Fabrics for $7.98/yard. On the burlap fabric, apply fabric glue to the edges to keep it from fraying too much. Here’s a perfect tutorial from Girl Inspired to sew the edges of your fabric. And, to finish off the beautiful napkins for your table, these nickel rings are perfect!

Who doesn’t love a cozy blanket? I found this great plaid that’s ideal for the colder months and sets the tone to bring in the holidays.

To greet your guests, a beautiful boxwood with a velvet ribbon is always a lovely classic.

Glam up your table with these sparkling glasses…so festive!

Since I have fur babies; I can’t help but make them cozy for the holidays…love that these jackets can be monogrammed.

Here’s my fur baby…his name is Cody. 😉

Last, but not least….I adore decorative boxes I can display on my coffee table to keep things tidy…

Can’t wait to hear from you!!
