COLORFUL OUTDOOR FALL WREATHS
Hi there…hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We are having such beautiful fall weather, just love how its in the 70s/80s during the day with cooler evenings. The leaves aren’t quite turning but the mild temperatures have been spectacular.
I have had such a relaxing weekend, which I very much needed…Sunday as always is my time to relax and plan; its a fantastic stress relief knowing what’s up ahead for the coming week. Speaking of planning; I thought I would share with you a DIY project coupled with some inspiration on my quest to make the perfect fall wreath before my Mother visits in a couple of weeks. Do you have a DIY project you are tempting to tackle and want to share? If so, please tell me about it.
Here is a great step by step I found on Martha Stewart…thank you Martha!
Snapshot from Martha’s website of the materials you will need (vines and bittersweet can be substituted), click on the link above to get her step by step instructions….
The bronze strawflowers and beardless green wheat adds lovely color with great texture to this wreath…
And, who doesn’t love a boxwood with cedar and pine cones…such a wonderful classic that is beautiful year after year.
Winter white, is just so appropriate for an elegant welcome…dried sola flowers and white larkspur.
Wish me luck with my project; will be my first wreath I am attempting on my own but I am excited!! I look forward to hearing about your projects…have a wonderful week!
